Bruker Announces New Mass Spectrometry Joint Venture in India

New Bruker LabMate Joint Venture Company Established to Further Enhance Customer Support for Life-Science Mass Spectrometry in Rapidly Growing Indian Market

 

BANGALORE, India, Jul 31, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Bruker Daltonics announced today the establishment of the Bruker LabMate Private Limited company, a life-science mass spectrometry joint venture between Bruker Daltonics and LabMate Asia, with customer support and technical expertise hubs in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Building on a successful partnership built over 7 years with Bruker's Indian mass spectrometry distributor LabMate Asia Pvt., the new company marks a seamless transition of established business and customer care teams to a majority-owned Bruker company.

At the core of the establishment of this Bruker LabMate joint venture is a firm commitment to customer service, training and support made fully accessible to Bruker Daltonics' top-tier academic and pharmaceutical industry clients by a geographically distributed technical staffing structure. "We already set the customer care standards in India by which other research mass spectrometry suppliers are judged, and we see it as directly responsible for our success," commented Dr. Ian Sanders, Executive Vice President of Bruker Daltonics.
